Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization founded in 1919, dedicated to recognizing and encouraging students of accounting, finance, business technology and analytics for their academic excellence and professional commitment. Beta Alpha Psi currently operates on more than 300 campuses worldwide, with a membership that has grown to include over 300,000 members who actively contribute to their fields and communities. Through a collaboration with ACBSP, eligible ACBSP-accredited institutions at non-profit baccalaureate and graduate levels can establish Beta Alpha Psi chapters, providing recognition and professional development for students pursuing careers in accounting, finance, business technology and analytics.

Value for Students

Students invited to join Beta Alpha Psi are offered lifetime membership, based on stringent academic and ethical criteria: students must be matriculated in a concentration of accounting, finance, business technology or analytics or have achieved an overall and major (concentration) GPA of 3.0 or higher (depending on chapter standards) and maintain good standing at their institution. Beta Alpha Psi membership provides public recognition of a student’s dedication to their field, and members participate in leadership and service opportunities that further develop their skills and professional networks.

In addition to recognizing academic and professional achievements, Beta Alpha Psi offers numerous scholarships, leadership development programs, and service initiatives to foster a sense of purpose, excellence, and ethical conduct in business and information systems.
