Basis for the decision 1. I - Review of All Academic Activities - By creating networked campuses in multiple counties, foundation resources, athletic scholarships, Tennessee Promise, and dual enrollment, the College and the Business Unit facilitate access to the programs for their students, serving its stakeholders in multiple communities. 2. IV - Business Program's Organizational Profile - Through a dispersed campus network and utilization of various internet-connected technologies, the College and the Business Unit make great strides in meeting the educational needs of its stakeholders. 3. Standard 3, Criterion 3.1 - Working with its stakeholders, the College has enabled the Business Unit to draw from the foundation resources to fund students’ success and graduation. 4. Standard 3, Criterion 3.2 - The Business Unit follows up with graduates and alums in determining the current employment practices for effective curriculum redesign. 1. Standard 5 - Criterion 5.1b - The Site Visit Team confirmed the Self Study report results as outlined in the tables through conversations with the faculty, and recruiting appropriate adjunct faculty to fill needs is a constant process. A high level of faculty experience and tenure came to light during the Site Visit, highlighting the College's care in retaining its workforce. 2. Standard 5, Criterion 5.2.B. - The discussions with faculty during the Site Visit offered a systematic process for assigning mentors to new faculty.
