South University accepts certificate of Initial Accreditation

South University’s College of Business accepted its initial accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) during the organization’s annual conference.

The recognition was accepted by South University College of Business Dean Cheryl Noll, M.B.A., Ph.D., and Assistant Dean, Susan Davis, MBA, Ph.D. “This is an important milestone in the history of South University’s College of Business,” said Noll. “This initial accreditation recognizes the University’s commitment to academic excellence and to upholding the very high standards of the ACBSP. It shows that we are dedicated not only to maintaining quality programs, but to the continuous improvement of the educational experience of our students.”

ACBSP’s Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners awarded initial accreditation to South University’s College of Business programs which are the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, Master of Business Administration, Accelerated Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and Accelerated Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration.
