European University, Accredited Business School, Is in the Top 5 in Switzerland

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwired - Dec. 20, 2013) - European University (EU) has risen in the ranks, five places to 34^th, in the European category of this year's QS Global 200 Business Schools Report. Above and beyond a top 35 spot, EU is the third-highest Swiss business school on the QS ranking and fifth in Spain and Germany. These ratings are a detailed overview of business schools around the world, giving potential MBA students an insight into the best business education institutions worldwide.

Behind the Rankings

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), founded in the U.K. in 1990 by Nunzio Quacquarelli, specializes in the analysis of educational institutions and international programs. In 1996, the company began to produce the annual QS Global 200 Business Schools Report as an alternative to other business school rankings.

QS also compiles lists that focus on individual facets of each institution. Earlier this year, European University placed eighth in the QS Women at Global Business Schools list. The business schools included are those which are making the biggest strides in training the female business leaders of the future. In 2013, European University has had a female to male percentage ratio of 54-46% throughout our MBA programs.

Other Accolades

EU's MBA program was also classified in the first tier of the European IGF category in CEO Magazine's 2013 International Graduate Forum (IGF) MBA Rankings and the Executive MBA program was listed in the second, global tier.

The International Graduate Forum gives hiring managers a complete assessment of the world's leading business schools. Schools are classified based on: international diversity, class size, student's work experience, professor-student ratios and faculty qualifications.
