The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners reaffirmed Fairmont State University's accreditation of the undergraduate and graduate business programs.

Fairmont State was first accredited in 2005 and is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain accreditation.

ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Steve Parscale presented the Certificates of Reaffirmation of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2015 in Philadelphia June 14.

“Fairmont State University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” he said in a press release. “This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that Fairmont State University is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students for the next 10 years, just as they have done for the last 10 years."
