Dr. Percy Vaughn, Jr. served as President of ACSBP from 2000 to 2001 and as professor and Dean of the College of Business Administration at Alabama State. He was named an ACBSP emeritus member upon his retirement from teaching.
An initiative was established in 2010 to secure Dr. Vaughn a naming opportunity in the ACBSP home office. It surpassed the original goal of $10,000, enabling ACBSP to renovate its Accreditation Library.
The Percy Vaughn Accreditation Library functioned as a library and work area for the ACBSP accreditation staff and feature information about Dr. Vaughn's history with ACBSP as well as a listing of all those who made contributions to the initiative.
